Hi I'm Mike & this is Tanya and where Brisbane locals. Tanya's been there all her life and I was born there and sort of moved around a bit I've been about their about 13 years living in Hawthorn, Bulimba over on the East side of town. We just love it I think we are in one of the best areas in Brisbane, we back on to a park which is just amazing, and we are in walking distance to the movies and Woolworth's, Oxford Street with all the restaurants.

Oh everybody wants to know where Woolworth's is.

In Oxford Street there is a well kept secret if you are coming Interstate to Brisbane a lot of people wouldn't know where it is if there just going into town its about five minutes out of the city I think probably about 17 restaurants down the main street, Oxford Street. There's Oxford 152 which is a great pub there's a lot of really good restaurants there. Sigomi's is a really nice one we go to a bit, yeah they make a really good coffee at Sigomi's and Chill and the Sushi Station we go to a bit I just love it.

She's there 3 times a week.

Almost everyday!

We should have shares there.

And a restaurant called Chill and by far the best restaurant in the whole street is Liquorice. Oh Liquorice oh great steak. The best steak I have ever had.

I had a sand crab lasagne there and their wine list is exquisite. Well worth trying.

Speaking of wine this is sort of going a little bit out of Brisbane we found out Sirromet Winery was about 20 minutes out of Brisbane so we bought like 7 cases of wine. It would be the best winery in Queensland. My day races cars around there so there's a race track you can go and watch the cars race and then go up to the winery on a Sunday and look at the amazing view and have lunch. It's really good if you can get yourself up to Sirromet Winery it's at Mount Cotton, just off Mount Cotton Road. If you've got a sat nav use it.

We hang out in the city there's a few great clubs there Cloud Land, Twelve, upstairs from the Melbourne Hotel, Melbourne Hotel is West though. They do the best food and really cool drinks. Twelve upstairs at the Melbourne Hotel in West End, the Managers Name is Les tell him Mike & Tanya sent you and he will probably charge you double, no he'll probably give you a free drink, I hope so, no he’s a good guy. Just in general I love the weather as well Queensland's really good for your sunny days and in Brisbane we get to experience the best of it because we've got all the parks.
The Greek Festival, The Brisbane Fashion Festival, The Seafood Festival in Cacton Street, in Brisbane Oh the Cacton Seafood Festival is so much fun, its just packed, every restaurant basically serves Seafood in Cacton Street for that week.

Oh and the men who loves Daisy's Festival, something I always love to go to.
